Mindworx Academy X IFOW training initiative
IFOW’s mandate is interlinked with that of TUT, which is to create future ready graduates. Skills development is one of the methods we are using to achieve this goal.
IFOW has partnered with Mindworx Academy to increase the employability of unemployed TUT graduates by equipping them with digital skills that are required within industry. Pre-assessed, shortlisted TUT graduates who are unemployed will undergo a 1-year work readiness training programme. Successful candidates will then be placed within industry by Mindworx Academy.
The pilot project kicked off in August 2023; if successful, the initiative will be rolled out as a continuous initiative for the university.
